The "school of media and Arts" is a cultural educational institution and an academic environment, above the University, for High, serious and original scientific research and study. It was established in the fall of 2004, and the beginning was the opening of the Department of Arts and media in the fall of 2001, followed by the school of Humanities, after which the arts were separated from the media in 2002, and in 2004 the decision of the Director General of the academy was issued to establish the school of media and Arts, which included the following departments:

• Audiovisual arts
• Effects

The school of media and arts aspires to form a promising future vision through its outputs of preparing graduates with the ability to compete to work in media and art research institutions at the local and international levels.

The school of media and arts seeks to achieve a set of achievements that contribute to the development and preparation of scientific frameworks of university and higher qualifications from public and private institutions to meet the needs of research and educational media and art archaeological institutions.

1. Consolidate the base of scientific research and its objectives and prepare high-level specialists in the field of media, arts and archeology specialties.
2. Developing the spirit of research and study among graduate students and training them on the methods and methodology of scientific research.
3. Providing humanitarian knowledge in specialized scientific fields to the school, to serve civil society and contribute to the development, modernization and development of its capabilities.
4. Studying problems and issues of local, Arab and international dimensions in the fields of Antiquities, Arts and media in order to contribute to providing successful solutions to them.
5. Providing media and technical institutions with highly qualified competencies to raise their performance level.
6. Encouraging professors and students to compose, translate, and conduct studies and research on media issues, local, Arab, and International Arts and antiquities.
